The textbook reflects the world of a contemporary junior high school student. The learning of spoken and written language is systematic and spiral. Work on the language is based on various types of test and iconographic materials: e-mail correspondence, blogs, invitations, conversations, text messages and many others. The student masters the vocabulary needed in everyday communication and in the lower secondary school exam. The manual takes a task-based approach: each lesson is concluded with a short task completed in interaction. Civilization issues reveal the culture of France and francophone countries in an interesting way. Accompanying tasks develop intercultural competences. The introduction to teaching school subjects in French motivates the student to expand his vocabulary and enables him to lead a cross-curricular path.
