This book is the fifth title of a series on Hinduism, for classes 1 to 10, based on the comprehensive curriculum on Saivism in Sri Lanka.
The lessons are meant to inculcate not only a knowledge of Saiva Neri or the way of life in Saivism, but also values in children which would be conductive to discipline, aspiration, humaneness and relating tradition to modern life. Hence the design of the lessons is also meant to be useful in self-study programmes where any child find it easy to understand the nuances of Saiva Dharma.
